3rd Annual Christmas by the Sea

Festive activities will be held every Friday and Saturday through December 17th. This ongoing campaign is designed to improve the Boardwalk area. Join us for some great events to celebrate Christmas by the Sea.
Enchanted Airlie

Airlie's holiday light display, Enchanted Airlie, runs until just before the Christmas holiday. Stroll through the gardens at your own pace and enjoy the beautiful holiday flowers, festive lights, live musical entertainment, and a display of a large garden model train!
Christmas Train & Light Spectacular
December 2, 9, 16, & 23 from 6:00PM - 9:00PM
December 3, 10, & 17 from 7:30PM - 9:30PM
The Wilmington Railroad Museum comes alive with a holiday glow featuring more than 11,000 lights, music, animated scenes on the layouts, special seasonal decorations, visits with Santa, hot cider & more!
Candlelight Tour

This prestigious historic two day event ushers in the holiday season with a festive tour of the finest private homes, churches, and historical sites in the downtown Wilmington area.
The Office Holiday Party
December 15, 2011 at 7:00PM - Doors open at 6:00PM
This all-new, interactive, dinner theater comedy extravaganza features the wackiest holiday party in town and is Porch Theatre Company’s grand return to their original mission: the comical conjoining of fantastic food, original, fully-scripted, high-spirited, interactive entertainment, and laughs galore.
Christmas Caroling with Horsedrawn Tours
December 16-24, 2011 from 6:00PM to 10:00PM
Join Horsedrawn Tours Wilmington on a city tour and sing Christmas carols with Santa and his special ‘reindeer’. Snuggle up under a warm lap blanket and enjoy the beautiful Christmas lights as you tour downtown Wilmington.
