The Cardinal Strut in Wilmington, North Carolina is all about having fun with your family and friends! Whether you are participating in the 5k, 10k, or 1.2 Mile Fun Run, this Wilmington event promises to be a memorable one. The 5k and 10k are USATF certified and the courses are fast and flat. Not a runner? New for 2012, people who are not interested in running the course are invited to join in the fun and walk or STRUT the 5k course. You can even dress the part for this special event! Costumes are welcome for the 3rd Annual Cardinal Strut. So whether you will be running, walking, cheering, or celebrating, this day will be entertaining for the entire family!

If you are interested in running as part of a team, this is the race for you because Birds of a Feather Flock Together! Just round up five or more runners and create a team name to participate as a team in this exciting Wilmington event. The more runners you have, the better! The judges will be giving out a Team Participation Award to the team with the most birds in their flock! And don't forget to dress to impress because the Cardinal Strut Judges will also have an award for the runners with the best Team Spirit. Finally, there will be awards for the three fastest teams!
