The Inaugural Wilmington Race for the Cure is scheduled for Saturday, March 2, 2013. Runners, walkers, volunteers, and spectators will meet in Downtown Wilmington North Carolina to celebrate survivorship, honor those who have lost their battle, and raise funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer. Susan G. Komen Race Day

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Wilmington, North Carolina will kick off with registration and packet pickup at 7:00AM. Participants will enjoy a Zumba Warm-up followed by the Competitive Open 5K and the Recreational Open 5K Run / Walk and One Mile. Soon after, children ages 3-5 can participate in the Kids Dash! Survivors will be honored all day long through various events and awards including the Survivor Breakfast and Survivor Photo. Learn more at www.komennctc.org.
